As a skilled Medical Massage Practitioner offering patients seeking relief for chronic or acute pain for 7 years now and I absolutely love my career! I felt it was a calling to help other since a young child and so was the gift of touch. A natural ability to empathize and sympathize with my patient so they feel free to open up about their journey. One of the many goals I have is to create a space for clients and patients to feel free to open up and release, not only their tension, but also their true selves.
A thorough health history and consultation is done before the first session, free of charge, in order to figure out how to proceed with a personalized treatment plan. In addition, I offer client-specific Yoga therapy poses, exercises, and stretches that can be performed in between sessions in order to maximize the therapeutic effects of the treatment.
Advanced certifications in Medical, Sports, Lymphatic drainage, Oncology, Prenatal and Neuromuscular therapies for Migraines/sinus congestion/ TMJ dysfunction and Cervical spine dysfunction (ex. Whiplash, herniated disk, stiffness, lack ROM)
I found yoga in 2009. Prior to that time, I had been actively involved in Mountain biking, personal training, and attaining an Associates degree of Science in Massage Therapeutics. Although when I approached yoga with the intention of dealing with flexibility, anxiety, and chronic muscle pain, I quickly fell in love with the practice and its many transforming benefits, diving so much deeper than the original intentions. After completing a 200-hour teacher certification by Yoga Alliance certified instructors and deeply grateful to all the teachings that have been so generously shared with me by many teachers. I’m so grateful for the many gifts that yoga has brought into my life. The desire to be of service and to share these teachings and experiences with others is what led to teaching now.
